Washington DC Branch

Hello from your Nation's Capital!

Washington D.C. has a rich history in bourbon! Did you know that in 1799, George Washington's distillery produced nearly 11,000 gallons, making it the largest whiskey distillery in America at the time?  We are VERY excited to announce that D.C. is the newest Bourbon Women chapter! We have some very exciting events coming your way.

On September 16th we attended the One Eight Distilling "Rock Creek Bourbon launch”! This is the first Bourbon made right here in the District since prohibition.  Bourbon Women members had a private tour and tasting with One Eights female distiller prior to the doors opening to the public! What a great event!

We plan to have various Meet & Neat events across the city at places like Bourbon in Adams Morgan, Due South close to the Nations ball park, Jack Rose in Adams Morgan, and Barrel on The Hill.  Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for more details!

Coming up on October 12th......Bourbon Women will be teaming up with one of the hottest cocktail bars in the city for a night of cocktails, small bites, and networking at Hank's Cocktail Bar.  Tickets are on sale now!

Stay tuned for more events and keep checking us out on social media! Feel free to email me at BWWashingtonDC@BourbonWomen.org
