Washington DC Branch

Hello from your Nation's Capital!

Washington D.C. has a rich history in bourbon! Did you know that in 1799, George Washington's distillery produced nearly 11,000 gallons, making it the largest whiskey distillery in America at the time?  We are VERY excited to announce that the D.C. branch is continuing to grow and we have some very exciting events coming up!

January 6th we enjoyed a fantastic tour and tasting at the only female-owned distillery in The District - Republic Restoratives.  We look forward to planning more events at local distilleries in the future!

There are many great events coming up in the District!  Make sure you stay tuned on social media and check this website for up to date info on events.

Don’t miss out on Whiskey Live March 2 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel!  And as always we are looking for some committee members to help with social media, membership, and events! Just drop a line and let us know you’re interested!

We plan to have various Meet & Neat events across the city at places like Bourbon in Adams Morgan, Due South close to Nationals Park, Jack Rose in Adams Morgan, and Due South on The Yards.  Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for more details!

Stay tuned for more events and keep checking us out on social media! Feel free to email me at BWWashingtonDC@BourbonWomen.org
