Washington DC Branch

Hello from your Nation's Capital!

Washington D.C. has a rich history in bourbon! Did you know that in 1799, George Washington's distillery produced nearly 11,000 gallons, making it the largest whiskey distillery in America at the time?  We are VERY excited to announce that the D.C. branch is continuing to grow and we have some very exciting events coming up!

Our year has been off to a great start! In January, we enjoyed a fantastic tour and tasting at the only female-owned distillery in The District - Republic Restoratives and Bourbon Women took advantage of an exclusive discount to attend Whisky Live DC in March.

This spring, we’re planning to offer a Bourbon 101 class and a She Sips, He Sips event.  Make sure you stay tuned on social media and check this website for up to date info on events. You should also consider attending the Tennessee Whiskey Trail To Jack & Back Road Trip on April 13-15th and mark your calendar to attend the 5th Annual Sip-osium Conference being held in Louisville, KY on August 24 – 26th!

We also plan to have various Meet & Neat events across the city at places like Bourbon, Due South, and Jack Rose. Can’t wait to see you at our events!  Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for more details!

Stay tuned for more events and keep checking us out on social media! Feel free to email me at BWWashingtonDC@BourbonWomen.org.
