Bourbon Women to Host 2-Day Sip-osium

“The sip-osium focuses an entire weekend on pure bourbon education and culinary expertise,” said Bourbon Women President Michele Bowling. “We expect women from across the country to join us – it’s an incredible opportunity for a getaway with your friends to learn and sample some of the best food and bourbon made.”

At workshops throughout the day on Saturday, participants will learn the basics of bourbon and how to taste and evaluate it like a pro; enjoy a virtual tour through Kentucky’s famed distilleries with a tasting of bourbons from each; sip unique, hard-to-find bourbons showcased by Indiana and Kentucky retailers; and discover the important economic impact of bourbon to the region’s economy. A multi-course dinner will feature a selection of delicious dishes perfectly paired with bourbons by the resort’s executive chef.
