Washington DC Branch

Hello from your Nation's Capital!

Washington D.C. has a rich history in bourbon! Did you know that in 1799, George Washington's distillery produced nearly 11,000 gallons, making it the largest whiskey distillery in America at the time?  We are VERY excited to announce that the D.C. branch is continuing to grow and we have some very exciting events coming up!

We can’t believe it’s already August! Time has flown by! So far this year we have had amazing events! A tour a Republic Restoratives, She Sips, He Sips, at Bourbon, in March where we blind tasted six different bourbons from Brown Forman to see who could guess the correct one! On July 17th, we just held our Member Appreciation event at Civil Cigar Lounge. We can’t wait for Sip-osium at the end of the August in Louisville.  A weekend full of bourbon history, tours, tastings, and education! Check out the events page to register and join us!

This fall we will head back to One Eight Distilling for an exclusive cocktail class with Shrub District founder Don Morton. You will learn how to make the latest cocktails AND you get to go home with a bottle of One Eight Bourbon and your choice of a bottle of Shrub District. Watch for more event details coming soon. We also plan to have various Meet & Neat events across the city at places like Bourbon, Due South, and Jack Rose. Can’t wait to see you at our events!
