Despite the annoying snow storm on Sunday 4/14, spring has come to Chicago, and your Bourbon Women ambassadors have been hard at work planning our line-up. We had a fantastic Bourbon Women night at Binny’s in Lincoln Park. Huge thanks goes out to Hilary Jurinak, one of our members and the key organizer of this event. Our barrel selection from J. Rieger debuted and was well received…buy your bottle if you haven’t already!
April is already in full swing – we had a tour and tasting at Koval, and on Thursday 4/18 we are being hosted at the J. Parker for Derby Day celebration, sponsored by Woodford Reserve. Come one and come all, whether you have a hat or not!
Because the whiskey industry is booming, another event surfaced for us in Chicago on 4/23. Bourbon & Bites is being held at the Merchandise Mart’s Middleby Residential Showroom, Suite 137 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The legendary Al Young, Senior Brand Ambassador of Four Roses will be joined by Chefs Jamie Laurita and Rick Kwiatkowski for an evening filled with decadent food, bourbon and conversation.
