Finalists will be selected between July 1 – July 11, 2021 by a committee selected by Bourbon Women. Finalists will be contacted on July 12, 2021 with further instructions on how to participate in the final competition held at Rabbit Hole Distillery on July 28, 2021. Finalists must be available for the in-person final competition on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky at Rabbit Hole Distillery.

There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded in each division (Professional and Amatuer) The winning cocktails in each division will be served at the Bourbon Women SIPosium conference in August. If you have any experience behind the bar, no matter the duration, enter the Professional division
The winner in the professional bartender division will receive a plaque to display at his/her/their place of employment as well as a cash prize of $250, to be awarded in person at SIPosium.
The winner in the amateur division will receive a plaque and a cash prize of $100, to be awarded in person at SIPosium.
Finalists will be notified on or about July 12, 2021. Winners will be notified on or about August 9, 2021 and the winning cocktails will be unveiled during the Bourbon Women SIPosium being held on August 27-29, 2021 in Louisville, KY. Bourbon Women reserves the right to edit and to publish all materials received whether or not an entrant receives a prize. By entering this contest, all entrants warrant and represent ownership of materials submitted. Winner releases contest entities from all liability regarding prizes awarded. Entry constitutes entrants’ permission to print entrants’ names and submission in promotional materials including, but not limited to, the World Wide Web, and entrants’ consent to use their names and submissions for advertising or publicity purposes, in all media, without compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to enter. Contest void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. You must be able to appear in person in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, to participate in the finals if your recipe is chosen. Bourbon Women will not pay for transportation or lodging to take part in the finals.

The “Not Your Pink Drink” Recipe Contest starts on June 14, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. EDT and ends on June 30, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. You will be notified by July 12, 2021 whether your cocktail recipe has been chosen.
HOW TO ENTER

Limit one entry per person.
Your recipe submission must include a Rabbit Hole Distillery whiskey.
No more than four (4) other ingredients (not including garnish).
Eggs or egg products and other allergens like peanuts or tree nuts must be clearly disclosed due to allergy concerns.
Egg products, such as egg white, must be pasteurized.
Most ingredients should be easy to make or readily available. Homemade syrups and infusions are acceptable, but recipes to recreate them must be included.
The finished drink must not be pink in color.
Recipes must include all ingredients as well as preparation instructions, including measurements, methods, and garnishes. Garnishes must not be exotic or complex, i.e. obscure herbs, wildflowers, out-of-season fruits. Ice, garnish and glassware are not counted toward the four ingredients.
Along with your recipe, please submit a photo that you took of your cocktail.
We are looking for fabulous cocktails that embody the adventurous spirit of Bourbon Women and celebrate bourbon. But we also want to make sure our members can recreate these great drinks at home. Therefore, entries will be judged on taste, convenience, relevance, appearance and creativity. Entries that are late, misdirected, illegible or not received due to technical malfunction will not be eligible.

All entries and recipes may be edited, reprinted, and used by Bourbon Women at its sole discretion. Bourbon Women will retain rights to the use of all submitted drink recipes and images and may use them for the purposes of advertising and promotion.
