What Is SIP Scholars?
An initiative of the Bourbon Women Education Foundation, SIP Scholars was created to expand opportunities for women in the spirits industry. At its core, SIP Scholars equips women to make the most of SIPosium and take meaningful steps forward in their careers and professional networks.
What Scholars Experience
SIP Scholars receive support to attend Bourbon Women’s SIPosium, where they join hundreds of women for learning, inspiration, and engagement across the spirits industry.
Before SIPosium, Scholars participate in pre-SIPosium virtual sessions focused on professional growth and preparing for the conference experience. At SIPosium, Scholars come together with their mentors for a dedicated day designed just for them, creating space for meaningful learning, conversation, and relationship-building within the broader conference.
Each Scholar also receives a Bourbon Women membership, providing access to events, resources, and ongoing participation in a community committed to lifting women forward. This experience is intentionally designed to help Scholars show up ready, informed, and fully engaged.

Who Should Apply?
SIP Scholars is open to women who want to deepen their engagement with the spirits industry. Scholars include women working across the industry as well as those expanding their knowledge of bourbon and spirits or exploring a new direction. What they share is curiosity and a willingness to step forward. We welcome your application.
