Bourbon Women is more than just a group of women who love bourbon. We are a community that believes in paying it forward, helping develop new talent and professional connections in any industry, and especially the spirits industry. We also believe in helping women make good spirits by driving diversity and inclusion in the spirits industry.

As an organization, we love to talk about how much fun SIP is, but it’s also a great networking and professional opportunity. Many great relationships are made or fostered at this event. Through the SIP scholarship program, we want to give individuals interested in moving into the spirits industry or furthering their careers access to the event and these opportunities. The SIP scholarships cover the cost of the SIPosium National Conference ticket and hotel, an Angels Share reception with past recipients, mentors and some of our leadership. This facilitates connections and helps the scholars take full advantage of the weekend. Send the SIPosium 2023 Scholarship Application form to them to your potential candidate. Applications are due back to us by April 25th at 12 midnight PST.

This year our Bourbon Women Foundation is offering 10 scholarships for individuals to attend the Bourbon Women SIPosium National Conference in 2023. We want you to share the application with great potential candidates or nominate women you know will help drive change in the industry with their passion and professionalism.

To add a recommendation to a scholarship application, send the application to them directly and ask them to submit the information. Then they can either attach their recommendation to the application or email Heather Wibbels directly (heather.wibbels@bourbonwomen.org) with the name of the applicant and your recommendation.  Please include how you know them, your experience with them, and how you think they and the industry would benefit from a SIP scholarship. We welcome recommendations from anyone in the industry!
