FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be 21+ before August 13th to attend any and all SIP events. Servers will request IDs if necessary.
I'm having trouble with registration, is there a walkthrough?
We, we have a video walkthrough of the registration process. Head here to see it. If you’re having issues, try a different browser, or move to a laptop instead of registering on your phone. And if you need more help, email us at info@bourbonwomen.org.
Are single day tickets available?
Single day passes will be available for industry folks only as we know weekends can be busy around distillery and hospitality industries. Reach out to info@bourbonwomen.org for more information.
Where do I find the member promo code?
If you are an active member, just log into our membership portal to purchase your ticket! This will get you the member discount! If you are having trouble with the promo code reach out to us at info@bourbonwomen.org. You cannot get the member price unless you are logged into your account. Need to renew? Head here for more info.
How much are the taxes and ticketing fees?
Since we have changed to a new ticketing system, our membership portal, additional ticketing fees/service charges have been removed and no additional taxes or service charges are added to your ticket price during checkout.
Do I need to bring my conference badge with me?
Yes, you’ll need your conference badge to get into the convention center and into workshops/excursions. We check badges for all workshops, excursions and for any special BW events.
Why do I need closed-toe shoes for excursions?
Distilleries are active work places with lots of opportunities to bang your toes against piping, barrels and other painful, toe-stubbing things. Please save the cute, strappy sandals, or the flip-flops for our dinners, reception and workshops not held at a distillery.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Send inquiries to info@bourbonwomen.org for the most prompt response.
Do I have to bring a printed ticket to the event?
No, our registration desk will be able to find your information without a printed ticket. Save a tree (we can use it for bourbon barrels!).
Interested in Sponsorships?
If you or your company is interested in sponsoring SIP 2025, email sponsorship@bourbonwomen.org
Why can't I buy more than one Full Weekend ticket at the member?
The BW member discount is for Bourbon Women members only. We appreciate our members and want to ensure they receive full benefits for their membership. You will need to log in to your active membership to purchase a ticket. Additional non-member tickets can be purchased in the same session. However any current member should log into her account to purchase her own ticket!
I'm having trouble logging in/renewing! Help!
If your membership has expired, you’ll get a notification as you try to log in. Head here for more tips on getting your membership renewed to take advantage of that $50 discount!
If you can’t remember your password, simply select: Click here to reset your password.
Can I just attend an add-on event without purchasing a full weekend ticket?
We love building a full Bourbon Women experience for our attendees. At this time, to attend add-on events like the Thursday Bourbon Nerd experiences, the Saturday Celebrity Bourbon Dinners or the Sunday Bourbon Funday experiences, you must be registered for the weekend or have an Industry Day Pass for the day of the event.
When should I arrive at SIPosium?
SIPosium offers special Thursday Bourbon Nerd Experiences during the day and a Mix and Mingle Thursday night. Depending on your SIPosium Schedule, you might want to check in on Wednesday afternoon/evening so you won’t miss anything if you plan to purchase Thursday Bourbon Nerd event tickets! Registration will be open bright and early Thursday morning and throughout the weekend.
If you don’t purchase an add-on for Thursday during the day, you can register any time Thursday before the evening Mix and Mingle event.
Tell me more about the new location!
This year the Kentucky International Convention Center is our conference home. You can enter via the pedway from the Hyatt parking garage or via the Market Street Entrance across the street from the Louisville Tourism Center just out the front lobby of the Hyatt.
You won’t have time to go between the hotel and the workshops or sessions during breaks. Plan to bring what you need for the day with you when you arrive for the day.
Due to the size of our new location, plan to wear comfortable shoes for the day. There will be more space to spread out and a lot more walking. Activities and stations will be spread out in front of our main ballroom area, and we will have an attendee lounge with seating and hospitality items.
Workshop sessions will be on the lower level of the convention center. Take the escalator around the corner from the main ballroom, or use the elevators nearby to go downstairs for workshops and specific events.
What do I wear?
August in Louisville and central Kentucky can be hot and humid, so plan accordingly. Of course, ballrooms and meeting rooms can be cold so bring along a sweater or jacket in case you need to layer up. If you go on distillery visits, be sure to pack comfortable, closed toed shoes in your conference bag for the day.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Arriving from SDF: The airport provides multiple options including Lyft, Uber or local Taxis. The Hyatt Regency is located less than 20 minutes from the airport.
Driving: Ample parking is available in downtown Louisville. Hyatt guests can use the Hyatt garage for $24 per day with in/out privileges.
What is the refund policy?
Bourbon Women does not offer any refunds for purchased tickets to SIP. All sales are final. You can transfer your ticket to another person with approval of Bourbon Women.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
All ticket transfers must be approved by Bourbon Women in the event that a ticket is being transferred. Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise arranged directly with Bourbon Women.
